Low static polyimide masking discs also known as Low static Kapton® masking discs are primarily used in circuit board production, wave soldering and other applications where static charge is a concern. Low static polyimide masking discs are 1 mil thick with 1.5 mil of silicone adhesive.

Low static masking discs has silicon adhesive which does not leave any residue. Masking discs can withstand temperature up to 500°F/260°C. They are packaged in 3" core. Low static polyimide masking discs conforms to MIL SPEC MIL-P-46112 Type I
